CONCERTS
We have two major performances each year: an annual awards evening, held at the Borough Hall, Hartlepool and an annual Christmas show in Hartlepool, where all students are given the opportunity to take part. The school is also often asked to perform at local events. In November 2009, the performing arts choir were asked to sing on stage at the BBC Children in Need event which was held at the Historic Quay in Hartlepool. In June 2008, the choir sang at Newcastle City Hall with ‘Journey South’. We feel that these performances give the students valuable experience and are also great fun!

MASTERCLASSES
The School hosts regular Masterclasses with guest tutors. Recently we had a visit from world renowned drummer STEVE WHITE (The Who/ Style Council/ Paul Weller). For information on forthcoming Masterclasses, please contact us at the school.

SUMMER SCHOOLS/ WORKSHOPS
During school holidays, The Northern School of Music offers a variety of workshops including Performing Arts, Pop Star Workshops, Rock Band Workshops as well as art and craft sessions. Further information can be obtained by contacting the school.
